It depends on your panel, the charger, and how far the wiring has to run. The charger installation itself — running the wire from your panel to the charger, and installing the charger — is a fixed price, given to you in writing before any work begins. If your electrical panel needs work as well, that part is quoted separately as an estimate with a ceiling, and you approve it before anyone touches it. Most GTA Level 2 installs land in a typical mid-range; the sample figures on this page are illustrative, not a quote.
No — and we would rather say so plainly. Ontario has no residential charger-installation rebate, and the federal EV incentive applies to buying the vehicle, not to installing the charger. But if you are in Toronto there is low-interest financing that does cover it, repaid through your property tax bill, with Level 2 charging stations explicitly eligible. Most people have never heard of it — see ways to pay.

Most installs are scheduled within a couple of weeks of accepting your quote, and the installation itself is typically completed in a single day, followed by the ESA inspection.
